Really Pratt hadn't even wanted to come onto the cruiseship - probably filled with people who wanted to kill them or harvest their organs or any number of things this neurotic mess could think up. But against his better judgement he'd wandered around and found it remarkably pleasant. That was a nice surprise.
The aliens had given him a bucket of shiny silver coins with strange inscriptions on them and he'd spent some time feeding them to slot machines just to watch the lights and spinning. He'd won a little, lost a little more, but altogether it'd been a good time.
There hadn't been many other humans so when he finally spots Yamamoto (who looks far too young to be in a casino and his cop senses are tingling) it's a little of a welcome relief. He's starting to feel like an animal in a zoo.
Offering the bucket of coins to him he gives a wry half-smile, "Wanna give it a whirl? Maybe your luck is better than mine. Pretty sure I'm on a losing streak."
