What makes it most infuriating, especially from Gokudera's perspective is jealousy. He's been struggling most of his life to get into a family, and Yamamoto was the Tenth's friend. Reborn clearly favors him... most everyone does. The bomber no longer feels that bitter annoyance about Yamamoto's oblivious, cheery nature. He's found strength in it, and acts more aggravated than he actually is. As usual, Gokudera's bravado is his shield.

Gokudera may reach out on the network depending on how his skills can be utilized. Until then, it doesn't feel pressing to mess with chemistry or controlled explosions. Storm flames may help with breaking into certain areas, but he's not going to explore anything without communicating to other Anchor natives.

"Taste it? Feel how your skin dries out afterwards? Salty water smells different than fresh water..." He remembers swimming in fresh water, and eating wafers that gave him the ability to breathe underwater with... odd side effects.

He wants to swim, though, but is hesitant. There's a lot he associates with the beach. A certain loss he doesn't want to focus on. Hopefully... it will feel completely different.
