She's always known that there's a lot going on in Peter's life back home - just like there's a lot going on in hers - and neither of them ever really talk much about it because it's hard and it takes too much explaining to really understand without experiencing it.

"You can't just forget something like that happened," she tells him with a small frown. "It stays with you... even if you keep telling yourself that everything is fine."
