Pratt pauses at the upheld hand, the motion familiar from all the times out hunting. Instinctively he goes for the holster at his side, before he remembers that not only is it empty, he can't access it from within the radiation suit. Shooting a gun in an enclosed space, especially a metal enclosed space, would be a terrible idea for their hearing and the possibility of ricochet. But depending on what is stalking them it might be worth it.

There's some silence for a while, less jingling, until a reindire bursts out in front of them, larger and more ferocious than the one that Pratt has already taken down. Immediately he backs up, knife at the ready to defend himself, but there's really nowhere to run or hide in a maze of twisting corridors.
