"I wouldn't call it normal. There were demons and monsters, and a lot else going on under the surface. But from what I gathered from talking to people, that's just what cities are going to be like. Long after we're gone."

He huffs softly, reaching up to scratch slowly at the edge of his jaw.

"I try not to think about it too much. Just helps to focus on where I am, now. Deal with that first. Let the mysteries of the universe work themselves out."
