Except that as soon as Onni tilts his head like that, sets a hand on his shoulder, Reynir's heart is racing. He is hesitating, not because he doesn't want to kiss Onni, but because - because - well, he just is.
So he gives himself an internal little shake, eyes slipping closed as he moves in to kiss Onni. It's reflex, really, the way one of his hands comes up to the back of Onni's neck, supporting it, smoothing a thumb through the soft fine hair just behind Onni's ear. His lips are soft and lovely, and it's really only reflex, that Reynir doesn't just go in for a peck. They are supposed to kiss, aren't they? So he should do it properly? Move his lips gently against Onni's, slow and exploratory. Reynir kind of fuzzes out for a few seconds there until he realizes oh, he is still kissing Onni. It's really nice kissing Onni but probably they have done enough to drop the bubble. Probably he should stop kissing Onni and definitely not open his mouth a bit wider, tongue darting out to touch against Onni's bottom lip just for a moment...
Reynir pulls himself away, blinking those green eyes, expression a little stunned. Distractedly, he says: ]
Well that... should have done it, right?
[ But he doesn't reach to test the barrier, yet. Hasn't moved his hand from where it's cupping the back of Onni's head. He just kind of stares for a moment, dumbstruck. ]
