Instinctively Rey wants to ask 'Are you sure?' but the words don't make it out. She knows the answer; she's known Elleru and how she just is enough to make that prediction, for better or for worse.

Now she just has to try not to shiver -- this time it having less to do with the temperature and her drop in body heat and more with her sudden awareness of how close Elleru is. Her hand clasps even tighter around her own jaw, trying to remain grounded to the present as much as she can be and not to a particular redhead of the past who she had once shared a similar proximity with.
