While Rey wouldn't necessarily call herself 'better', the freedom from the barriers encasing them helps a bit. Still, even as Elleru pulls away, the answer to that question is uncertain -- so much so that she's afraid to move the tiniest bit. Instead she's just frozen, staring at the back of her lids as her other senses detect the environment around her to know that Elleru hasn't fully pulled away yet.
