[ Ben gets to his feet, waiting for Allison to follow; he falls into step beside her, letting her set the pace, conscious all of a sudden that her injuries might be really new. Time works strangely, in this place, and she is still wearing those damn bowling shoes. For Ben, some time has passed since Vanya's disastrous concert. Since the end of the world that they hadn't stopped. But for Allison it might be quite recent. She might be weak still from almost bleeding out less than a day ago, by her body's clock. ]

[ And he gives a grin that is just the tiniest bit sassy. He hasn't had the chance to gently tease Allison in a long time, and he doesn't think anybody will disagree that the horse movie was not only awards-bait of the most shameless kind, but also, really dreadful. Not Allison's fault, of course. She'd acted her heart out. But the soppy script and the melodramatic score and the three hours of horse-related overwrought conflict... never stood a chance. ]
