Something like this, an animal with a temperament that Kieran doesn’t know (and frankly would rather not learn about), is an unknown factor in a gamble that nobody here wants to lose.]

Maybe out of laziness, maybe for general aesthetic, but either way, it’s going to come in handy here. He then turns to Ami and whispers:]
